How To Place an Ad

*Before placing an ad, you should already have pictures ready to upload as the last step for placing the ad. These should be on your computer in JPG form and have a file size of less than 2.5MB (2,500KB) per picture. Pictures larger than 2.5 MB will not be uploaded. Please have your picture(s) ready to go as it cannot be altered once uploaded. You can change text, delete or add pictures to your ad at any time while it is running.

1- Go to the "Register" link and register. You will receive an email within a few seconds confirming your registration, click the reply link.

2- Login with your username and password you just created.

3- Click on "Place An Ad" from the left navigation column or in the above box. Then select a category in which to place your ad from the drop down box.

4- Fill out the Ad details. Please put the manufacturer, size and year if known in the Title bar. Just about field is searchable, such as your Zip Code, Manufacturer, Mfg Year, etc. Be as close to you can for the price you are asking since this is searchable too as a buyer.

5- Upload the pictures of your choice. You can delete pictures at any time. Once your pictures are up you are done.
If you have problems uploading, your picture file size is probably too large. If so, please email us and we will send you a link to send them to.

You are ready to go! You ad will appear immediately. You can go back and alter anything about the ad that you do not like after the ad is placed for the duration of the ad.

Standard Photo Ad: Photo Ad, up to 8 pictures. Your URL can be shown on Ad if desired. Free upgrade to "Featured Ad". Ad runs for 90 days, Free Ad.

Albuquerque Special: Tuning, Inspection and Apprasal: Photo Ad, up to 10 pictures. We will come to your house in Albuquerque, NM, take pictures of your piano, create an ad for you, tune your piano and give you an onsite inspection report and appraisal. Tips on placing ads:

• Pictures do make a sale so be careful in taking and posting pictures. Please crop and adjust lighting before posting your pictures. You can also go back at a later date while your ad is still running and replace pictures as need be.
  

  
  
• Try to set a realistic price on your instrument and be close to what you really want for your instrument. With the search feature, potential buyers will do a search based on price and you may exclude yourself from a search by placing too high a value on your instrument.
  
  
• As a potential buyer when performing a search as above, set your price limit a little higher than you are willing to pay. Prices may be set higher than normal to allow room for negotiation in a deal. No one is going to ask a price then raise it! So do allow for some negotiation in considering prices.
  

  
  
• Be as descriptive as you possible can with your ad. The history of your piano, the last time it was serviced or tuned or any work done should be noted. Also note whether it comes with a bench or not, include a picture of the bench or any accessory that will be sold with the instrument. PLEASE include your phone number in the Ad Description.
